I uninstalled the service despite having over a year of it left to use. I read and tried all the connection solutions nord offers online and even outside help to try and make the service work. If any of the safe browsing setting are turned on like ad block, I will not be allowed to use any website. All it takes is turning the VPN on for me to get the "you've gone offline" notification, as soon as I disconnect it I'm magically connected back to the internet. From causing me to lose my updated work hours to hours of video editing. There the app costing me hours of work both professionally and personally. I know it is due to the nord app because my phone never had connection problems until I downloaded the VPN for my mobile device.
Making playing games, reading chat, watching a YouTube video, streaming Hulu or Netflix, updating, and doing paperwork for my job impossible. I am constantly having my internet throttled, or even just disconnected and reconnected 30 times a minute. I bought this service to protect myself while streaming online, but it's honestly the worst thing I've downloaded on a PC since limewire. Anyway, on Android that I used rarely, it worked more than on my laptop. From the customer service you always get the same excuses we are working on a solution and this sentence or few others are circling, repeating for months and months, just copy paste formula. Free VPNs are much better than Nord, at least you know sometimes they work and sometimes don`t but you pay for something, and it does not work most of the time. So many frustrations, wasted time, I could write a book about it. and never buy NordVPN if you are in China because even that they give it to you for free it is almost useless here. What to add or say, please save your time, nerves, money etc. Now, for more than last 3 months in row they are still fixing the problem for Windows, and I am not able to use it again. First time when it happened, I could not use it for a month in row, then second time for 3 months in row, then 4 months in row. Now, it is 22 months since I bought it and in total, I was not able to use it for around 11 months, imagine it is the half of the time not being able to surf with NordVPN. Really, I do not know why on the internet are so many adds, reviews about how NordVPN is great, but it is quite opposite they should write how bad actually is. I must admit it is the worse VPN that you can pay for and being not able to use it for most of the time. I must share my experience with using NordVPN in China and save others from not making the same mistake as I did.
